Personal Protection Mantras

Saturday June 6,  9 to 11:30AM

Human interactions often involve non-physical dynamics that can penetrate our aura and energy body in ways that disrupt or damage vitality on all levels. Counselors, teachers, therapists, healers and caregivers are exposed in ways not commonly understood.  Sanskrit mantras, and some yogic techniques provide tools to build our protective armor or quickly cleanse the aura of residual psychic junk. Mantras for protection against psychic attack or removal of malevolent influences are also taught.   Proactive protection and periodic sonic cleansing provide powerful techniques that are simple, discreet and effective to use.   Workshop includes detailed handout and recordings of mantras.

Establishing Inner Peace –  Satsang and discussion.

  Sunday,  June 7, 9:30 to 11AM

There is a place of deep inner peace within each person. Simple daily practices can relocate the center of our thoughts & inner identity to a steady calmness that enhances clarity, alertness and strength. The teaching “Be Still and Know That I Am God” from the Bible (Psalm 46:10) points to profound realizations that are achievable by simple practical methods in yogic scriptures. Infinite peace and a dynamic fullness of unbounded, eternal silence is our birth-right, waiting to be discovered at the inner essence of who we are.

This presentation offers an overview of ways we can re-train our mind and physiology, through various meditation or yoga techniques, to establish a learned habit of calmness and enjoyment of inner peace.  Examples of deep inner silence as prerequisites for advanced spiritual realization are provided from Vedic scripture sources.

Lakshmi Puja
Friday June 5,  7 – 9PM

Vedic Priest Bharata (Bill Barry) will offer this Vedic Ceremony invoking Divine Mother Lakshmi’s blessings of  abundance on all levels in our lives. Attendees will have several options of participation in puja, including group mantras.

Pujas are a form of religious ceremony performed according to precise procedures found in ancient Vedic scriptures. Mantras, hymns, prayers and invocations are chanted in Sanskrit, often called the language of the gods. This puja, performed as a classic shodashopachara (16 form) style puja, invokes Divine assistance for the resolution of karma and attainment of spiritual blessings.
